Navigating Services to Support Aging in Place

Presented by:  Kiara Lee, MSW
Geriatric Care Manger with Seniors At Home-JFCS

Most people find that we need some additional support in order to maintain independence as we get older.  Any number of issues can affect our ability to carry on as we’ve always done--from changes in our vision, to being less steady on our feet, to memory issues.  We may also have feelings of loss and isolation, or anxiety about stressors in our lives, that get in the way of fully engaging in life the way we imagined we would in our retirement.

Fortunately, there is an abundance of support available.  Since most of us prefer to stay in their own homes, it’s important to understand what kinds of support are available to help us.  Come and learn about services to help optimize our physical, emotional and mental wellness, plan for the future, and to make empowered decisions.

Please RSVP to 415-449-3777 or email Seniors At Home.

The Aging with Style Series is presented by Senior At Home and the Belvedere Tiburon Library.
