Interested in showing your Art at the Library in 2018? The Library's Art Committee is holding an Art Jury to choose works for 2018.


Art drop off - October 11, 2017 (1-6pm), October 12, 2017 (10am - 3pm)
Judging - October 13, 2017
Art pick up - October 14, 2017

  • The Art Jury is run by the Belvedere Tiburon Library Art Committee. 
  • Art needs to be two dimensional and hang-able. Various mediums are welcomed. The number of pieces in a show is up to the artist, depending on the size of each piece. We suggest you visit the Library's Founders Room to get ideas.
  • Work selected by the Committee will be shown in the Founders Room of the Library for approximately 4 weeks sometime between January & December 2018. 
  • Selected works should be available for sale. The Library retains 20% of the sales proceeds.

What to bring: 

  • Your name, address, phone number, and email
  • Resume and/or artist statement 
  • One framed two-dimensional original. For jurying, wooden stretcher bars are sufficient.
  • Website or photos of additional work. The number of photos depends on your body of work, and the photos should represent your portfolio.
Note: If you are selected for a Gallery show, your art must be available for sale. The Library retains 20% of the sales designated for art book purchases. In lieu of an entry fee and in consideration of the generous sales split, the Committee will co-host an opening reception but requires guest artists to actively market their show and to provide appetizers at the reception. Wine will be provided by the Committee and the Committee will coordinate local marketing of the show.
