"Kim began her life here in Belvedere. Growing up sailing on the bay, hiking in the hills, and developing life long friendships is an important part of her life.

After living in Seattle for 35 years, she is happy to have moved back to Tiburon, and is thrilled be a part of the community of artists at the historic ICB in Sausalito.

Kim’s paintings are thoughtful meditations, incorporating both figurative and abstract images.

'Transitions' is a series of recent paintings about things and ideas that are important to her. Transitions are constant in life. They involve boxes of all kinds. What are boxes, how do we use them, and what do they represent?

Transitions also involve movement, as illustrated in a series of paintings with the use of the spiral formed by the Fibonacci Sequence."

The exhibit runs from December 10 through January 3 and can be seen during library open hours when the room is not in use.
