Marine mammals serve as the sentinels of the sea.

By rescuing, rehabilitated and releasing sick and injured seals and sea lions along the California coast, the The Marine Mammal Center and their community of volunteers and supporters help provide a second chance at life for local marine mammals.

Presenter Adam Ratner is the Guest Experience Manager at The Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito, CA.

He oversees the visitor and education operations, including training and managing the 130 education volunteers, tour and classroom programming, and exhibits.

Adam also leads up numerous sustainability initiatives and education programming including climate change, ocean trash, and sustainable seafood.
