Guitarist Howard Alden who the New York Post has observed is "...one of the very finest young guitarists working today," will be joined by Kit Eakle, a familiar face in Belvedere and Tiburon as the former music teacher at Reed School, but is known more widely as one of the most original jazz violinists on the West Coast.
Together with veteran bassist Don Bennett and drummer Rory Judge the group will play music from Eakle’s DjangoSphere project including the compositions of Thelonious Monk and Gypsy Jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt, along with a few originals and familiar jazz standards by Duke Ellington and others.
