Rare Plants of the Tiburon Peninsula Interpretive Walk
Thu May 31, 9:00am to 2:00pm |
Meet at the gate at the end of Taylor Rd., Tiburon

The late season bloom on this ridge includes one of the rarest and most unusual plants in the world, the Tiburon mariposa lily. We’ll look for this and other flowers as we take in spectacular views of the bay.

After lunch, we’ll drive over to Old Saint Hilary’s Preserve to see the rare and lovely Tiburon jewelflower as well as a number of other late blooming beauties.

Remember to bring binoculars, if you have them.

This walk is for ages 18 and up. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend. High fire danger cancels: Call 415.893.9527 after 7am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if cancelled.

No registration is required.
