Teen Lock-in

National Teen Lock-in is a coast-to-coast interactive event for teens in libraries across the U.S. that brings teens and YA authors together for fun and food!

The Library will be closed to all other patrons besides teens in grades 6-12 (no adults, no children).

This year's author line-up is:

  • Kristen Simmons, author of Glass Arrow
  • Wendy Higgins, author of the Sweet Evil series
  • Kara Thomas, author of The Darkest Corners
  • Miranda Kenneally, author of The Hundred Oaks series
  • Elizabeth Briggs, author of Future Shock and its forthcoming sequel Future Threat
  • Nicola Yoon, author of Everything, Everything and the forthcoming The Sun Is Also a Star

Teens age 11-18 (in grades 6-12) meet monthly to discuss popular YA books.Meet at the Library for a book discussion, followed by Movie & Pizza Night at 5 pm.Teens in grades 6-12 can sign up for Teen Book Club to receive free books each month.There is no meeting in February, November, or December due to holidays.
