The Why and How of Building a Life-Long Learning Community | Diane Green

Founders Room

Do you ever have the feeling that your life is filled but that too much of it is spent on things not important to you?

Do you feel a longing to share your passion with others; to enjoy the sheer pleasure of talking about what you absolutely love?

Diane Green, M.A., artist and founder of The Jay DeFeo Salon – a much-cherished local art study group – will share her insights on why and how to create a group that supports and nurtures your passion.

She will discuss our need for connection and a successful model for creating your own learning community, as well as lead an exercise in exploring your passion.

Come for a casual evening that either jump starts your engagement in a life-long learning community or, at the very least, gets you to take a moment to reflect on what you love most and what gives meaning to your life.
