Winter Solstice: An Evening with Ruth Stotter and John Boe

St. Nicholas and Santa are viewed differently in various parts of the world.

Ruth will use vintage postcards from other cultures to illustrate the variety of their helpers, appearances, and the dramatic differences in their modes of transportation.

John Boe will share poems and stories about the Solstice, Christmas, and Santa Claus.

Ruth Stotter has been collecting postcards for several decades and is a member of the SF Postcard Club. She is a Folklorist and a Storyteller. John Boe has taught interpreting fairy tales at the C.G. Jung Institute in SF and has published numerous articles,
