Welcome to your Summer Reading Guide! This is where you'll find all things Summer Reading to inspire you to read, create, and enjoy your summer. We have performances, events, and book recommendations ready for you at the library!
Be sure to visit the library all summer for a weekly freebie:
Tuesdays June 14, July 12, August 9 | 3:30 and 4pm
Develop excitement and confidence to read with a Reading Buddy! Kids are paired up with a teen mentor to read and play word games. Grades K-3.
Saturday June 18th | 11am
Explore the fantastic lives of beetles, millipedes, tarantulas, walking sticks, whip scorpions, and more! All ages.
Tuesday June 28 | 1pm
Get a Henna tattoo from artist Rachel Palacios. Henna tattoos are temporary and last up to 8-10 days. Limited to 25 participants. Ages 6+.
Thursday July 21 | 11am
You're invited to a show filled with magic, laugh-out-loud comedy, and storytelling. Fun for all ages.
Month of July
Make a beautiful bar of felted soap – it’s a washcloth and soap in one! Ages 4+. Pick up a kit at the library while supplies last.
