Braille and Talking Book Library

California's Library Services for People with Print Disabilities, in association with the Library of Congress, provides a free braille and talking book library service for people with temporary or permanent low vision, blindness, or a physical disability that prevents them from reading or holding the printed page.

Through a national network of cooperating libraries, a free library of braille and audio materials circulate to eligible borrowers in the United States by postage-free mail.

The service works to ensure that all may read by providing eligible patrons access to National Library Service materials regardless of age, economic circumstances, or technical expertise.
