Founders Room

Join us for an engaging discussion with author and former Bay Area resident Jeff Pennington, inspired by his new book, "You Teach the Machines: AI On Your Terms."

This event will help people of all backgrounds understand, live with, and use artificial intelligence. Drawing on twenty-five years of experience in the field and real examples from finance, cooking, technology, marketing, health, music, driving, and more, Jeff’s talk will help you maximize the benefits and minimize the harm from the AI-driven change already happening in your life.

Learn how you and your data are used to teach today’s AI and what you can do to protect yourself. Helpful examples guide you through what AI excels at—and where it is still a work in progress. Gain actionable insight into the pitfalls and side effects of a new industrial revolution in automating human knowledge. Most importantly, understand and take advantage of the incredible benefits of this new technology, whether you like it or not.

A special segment, “The AI Talk,” will help kids talk to their parents, and parents guide their children as they deal with the educational, social, and psychological implications of artificial intelligence.
Join your neighbors from Tiburon and beyond to learn from Jeff and share the knowledge you already have. Gain a sense of agency to minimize harm and enhance your work and life with artificial intelligence.
