Keeping Varmints at Bay
Marin Master Gardeners Presentation
Master Gardener Lois Stevens will discuss techniques for dealing with common garden pests, such as deer, rats and gophers, focusing on practical methods for home gardeners.
Do you look out the window and find your roses beheaded? Are your carefully cultivated fruits and vegetables partially eaten? Or, have your plants disappeared in their entirety?
It’s likely your garden is being appreciated by deer, gophers or rats.
Marin Master Gardener Lois Stevens will provide information and discuss techniques to help home gardeners cope with these garden pests that have been known to make themselves at home in your home, too.
A UC Marin Master Gardener since 2008, Lois has been gardening for nearly 50 years. A past chair of the Marin Master Gardener Help Desk, she has trained new Master Gardeners, served on the Board of Directors and makes presentations about the Master Gardener program and garden related topics at events such as this.
