The California Highway Patrol understands that driving is important to your independence and mobility and wants to provide the guidance that will help you drive longer and more safely.
Accomplish that goal by reinforcing good driving habits and update your knowledge about traffic safety laws and rules of the road.
This presentation by CHP Instructor Alex Ochoa is designed to help senior drivers:
- Tune up driving skills
- Refresh knowledge of the rules of the road
- Learn about normal, age-related physical changes that may impact driving ability
The Age Well Drive Smart program was developed by the The Training Research and Education for Driving Safety (TREDS) program at the UC San Diego School of Medicine and is funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety.
