Classics Book Club
For High School Students
Do you love to read? Meet up monthly to discuss modern classic books and earn community service credit for participating.
Teens - do you love to read classic modern literature? Do you like to hang out, enjoy snacks, and talk about books? If so, this is the book club for you!
Classics Teen Book Club will meet monthly except during school holidays.
Books selected for this year include:
September - The Catcher in the Rye
October - Dracula
November - We Have Always Lived in the Castle
January - Northanger Abbey
February - Wuthering Heights
March - The Picture of Dorian Gray
April - Jane Eyre
May - The Trial
June - Sense & Sensibility
July - The Maltese Falcon
Suggestions are welcome if members want to change the selection. Sign up for one or several dates.
Availability of free copies to keep or library copies to check out in print or digital format will be shared with participants each month.
This group is for teens age 14 & up (grades 9-12) and participants can earn one hour of community service credit for attending the book discussion.
