Apply to Be a Speaker at Local Authors Night

We’re launching a new series, Local Authors Night, and we’re looking for local writers like you to be a featured speaker. This is more than just a reading—it’s an opportunity to:

• • Gain Visibility: Share your work and book titles directly with an engaged local audience.

• • Connect & Network: Meet other writers, illustrators, and local book lovers.

• • Inspire Others: Discuss your writing process, answer questions, and demystify the journey from idea to publication.

Each Local Authors Night features a small panel of local writers grouped by similar themes, genres, or styles for a cohesive discussion.

As a featured speaker, you will:

• • Share a short, engaging reading from your book

• • Participate in a panel discussion

• • Field questions from the audience.

• • Enjoy a pre-event reception where you can mingle with attendees.

We are running a rolling call for entry for our 2026 series, starting with our inaugural event this November. We want to hear from you!
