Mill Valley Public Library
BOOK DONATION GUIDELINES DURING COVID-19
Mill Valley Public Library is currently accepting book donations.
Leave donations in boxes or bags (4 bags or less) on the donations cart at the top of the stairs inside the Library near the main entrance during open hours.
The Book Place
Friends of the Marin County Free Library accepts gently used books, movies, sheet music and CDs.

The Global Book Exchange
Collects new and gently-used children's books to give to local nonprofits and teachers serving kids from Marin's lowest income areas. Also works with local Rotary clubs to ship children's books to developing countries.

The El Cerrito Recycling Center
Has a large book exchange area. They accept books, magazines, CDs, and many other items. Place in the blue Discover Books containers or in the Exchange Zone.

Prisoners Literature Project
Please write “PLP” on the bag or box of books, so others know the books are intended for us.

Makes attractive bookshelves out of hardback book covers with interesting titles on their spines.
Prefers old hardbacks with interesting titles, colors, and textures.
