This is a recruitment to fill two positions in the Children's Department. We plan to hire one part-time librarian and one full-time librarian, bilingual in English and Spanish preferred for either position. The Children's Librarian will help provide the highest quality children's services, ensuring that the children's room is a dynamic, friendly, and supportive place. Children's Librarians help plan and implement programs, provide reader advisory, and support collection development. Full-time work is 37.5 hours per week and may include some evenings and weekends. Part-time work is 19 hours per week and will include evenings and weekends.
Classification: Librarian I or Experienced Librarian
Hourly Range:
Librarian I $37.00 - $47.23
Experienced Librarian $41.11 - $52.47
